DIFFERENT TYPES OF BROWNIE RECIPES TO MAKE FOR ANY OCCASION

One of our favorite sweets seems to be Brownies.  Whether you like them plain, iced, chocolate, layered, as the base for an ice cream sundae, as a snack or a fancy dessert, the humble brownie is always a welcome treat.  Add these recipes to your brownie file; Iced Brownies and Heavenly Apricot Brownies.  ICED BROWNIES1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour1/2 cup cocoa1 tsp baking powder1 tsp salt2/3 cup canola oil2 cups sugar4 eggs1 tsp vanilla1 cup nuts, choppedPreheat oven to 350 degrees. DON’T WE NEED MORE CELEBRATIONS?

In February 2008 Zilly Rosen, an artist from Buffalo, New York, created a combined portrait of Barack Obama and Abraham Lincoln using a unique material – cupcakes. The more than 5,000 cupcakes used to create the remarkable likenesses contained a cream filling and were topped with a colored disc of fondant – a more pliable type of icing made with powdered sugar. When seen from above, each cupcake acted like a pixel in the image. After being exhibited at the Smithsonian American Art Museum, the public was invited to “de-install” the portrait – which literally looked good enough to eat. SEND FRESHLY BAKED GOODIES AS GIFTS

If life as Forrest Gump said, is like a box of chocolates because you never know what youre gonna get, then a basketful of freshly baked goodies is the stuff that provides the bells and whistles of our existence.
