I hold this recipe came from the 1989 book of Woman’s Day repository though we can’t be sure.  It was listed in the “Eating Healthy” section  since it has 1 1/2 tablespoons of oat bran in any square.  Each block additionally has 188 calories, 4 grams protein, twenty-six grams carbs, 9 grams fat, 0 mg cholesterol, as good as 130 mg sodium.  That is flattering good numbers for the dessert!  This is good for family meals, co-workers, legal holiday present giving, bake sales, church potluck, etc.  Who doesn’t adore the thought of chocolate as good as full of health all in one?  Give these French Chocolate Silk Squares the try currently as good as see only how good full of health as good as chocolate can be together!

FRENCH CHOCOLATE SILK SQUARES

Crust:

1/4 crater confectioners’ sugar
1 1/2 cups underdone oat bran
1/2 crater all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp salt

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Line an 8 or 9-inch block baking vessel with foil. Spray foil with no-stick in progress spray. TO MAKE CRUST: Mix margarine as good as sugarine in the medium-size blending play until blended as good as smooth. Add oat bran, flour as good as salt; stir only until blended.
